About Me
With over 20+ years experience in the industry, Kristen has always had a passion for making people feel and look their absolute best.
Kristen's career originally started working in retail, then onto state makeup artist for brands such as Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier travelling the country doing makeup events/workshops with Global Brand Artists. Moving on, Kristen went into freelance work having the opportunity to work on the Mercedes Fashion Week multiple times, Hair Expo with Australian Hairdresser Jayne Wilde (Wildlife Hair), photoshoots for clients such as Red Bull, SeaFM, StarFM, AV Jennings, MOK Theorom, From St Xavier, NBN Television and more. In 2013, Kristen became one of the 6 makeup artists to work on the Australian Tour of The Lion King Musical. After the completion of the tour, Kristen then made her way into teaching the Diploma of Screen + Media at the Mask Academy in Newcastle and Parramatta for 3 years. 2017 saw Kristen get her hairdressing qualification, now she also has a home studio salon servicing both hair and makeup services.
Over Kristen's whole career she has always had a passion for the bridal industry. Working on countless weddings over the years, she always had one goal in mind - MAKING BRIDES LOOK AND FEEL GLAMOROUS.
'It's so important to me that my bride feels relaxed and comfortable when in my chair. My job is to make you look amazing but you still feel like yourself. I believe less is more when it comes to makeup. Makeup should enhance your features - not cover up and mask them."
